About Air Force JROTC

Successful Cadets in this program receive high school credit in Physical Education.  Additionally the Aviation Honors course is credited as the private pilot academic program and may allow college credit in aviation courses from such universities as Embry Riddle.

Scholarships are available through ROTC programs in colleges around the nation while Cadets may also pursue an appointment to one of the three service academies operated by the Air Force, Army or Navy.

The JROTC Program IS NOT a recruiting process for the armed forces but is best seen as a program to help students understand responsibility, self discipline and learn the value of respect and selfless service.  Our number one goal is to help students find within themselves the ability to be successful through their self-discipline and initiative- first in high school and then in college, career and the workplace!

Cadets however who do choose to enlist in their choice of a military branch, and have been in the JROTC program for three years can expect an advance promotion out of basic training.
